Clinical Research Engineer

Position Description:
Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Research will develop and maintain the necessary protocols to support clinical and laboratory research.


Departmental Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for retrieval, review and analysis of clinical data
  • Develop and execute experimental research protocols for studies in biomechanics and/or biomaterials
  • Develop and construct experimental testing devices, both hardware and software
  • Collaborate with engineers and surgeons
  • Prepare presentations, abstracts, manuscripts and peer reviewed articles
Qualifications:
  • B.S or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge and experience in research design and analysis
  • Excellent organization skills and initiative with the ability to drive processes with minimal supervision
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Access
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel 30%
