Clinical Research Engineer

Position Description:
Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Research will develop and maintain the necessary protocols to support clinical and laboratory research.
Departmental Responsibilities:
- Responsible for retrieval, review and analysis of clinical data
- Develop and execute experimental research protocols for studies in biomechanics and/or biomaterials
- Develop and construct experimental testing devices, both hardware and software
- Collaborate with engineers and surgeons
- Prepare presentations, abstracts, manuscripts and peer reviewed articles
Qualifications:
- B.S or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge and experience in research design and analysis
- Excellent organization skills and initiative with the ability to drive processes with minimal supervision
- Strong proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Access
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel 30%
